Home Care Aide

Moore Abundant Home Care Aide Position

Job Summary: Join our compassionate team as an In-Home Caregiver, where you will provide essential support and personalized care to individuals in their own homes. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives by assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring safety and comfort. You will work closely with clients to deliver attentive, respectful, and professional care tailored to their unique needs, fostering a trusting and positive environment. This paid position is ideal for caring individuals eager to bring energy, dedication, and empathy into their work every day.


Functions: Assists clients with Activities of Daily Living and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living, in clients’ homes. 


Requirements: 

a. Registration as an HCA with the State of California 

b. Have an active background clearance granted through the Caregiver Background Check Bureau 

  o submittal of LiveScan fingerprints 

c. Completion of state-mandated Statement of Prior Criminal Record (LIC 508) 

d. Completion of state-mandated Mandated Reporter Acknowledgement (SOC341A) - - e. Pass TB test(s) within 90 days prior to application or 7 days after

  o Be aware of the option to opt in or opt out of having personal contact information shared with other agencies and adjust the registration accordingly

f. Completion of training 

g. Maintain current CPR certification  


Qualifications: At least 18 years of age Able to read and write legibly Registered as a caregiver with the State of California (includes TB test, mandated reporter training, fingerprints/background test) Able to communicate effectively with fellow clients, co-workers, and office staff Able to recognize own limitations and request help when needed Able to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance, and complete a DMV check  .


Working Conditions: Work in clients’ homes on schedule agreed to between client and office. This may include evenings and weekends. The HCA will have the option to accept or decline any individual client’s hours or service.
